DocsBridge Desktop

Bridge Desktop.

Bridge Desktop is the Windows and macOS application where the agent, models, tools, and active work run. It is the primary working surface for Alluqi Bridge.

What runs here

Bridge Desktop hosts agent sessions, model connections, approved tools, permissions, and repeatable workflows. Sessions work across the documents, code, and knowledge sources your configuration approves — and nothing else.

Bridge Desktop is not developer-only. It can support technical and operational workflows when the selected models, tools, permissions, and deployment are configured for that work.

Models

Bridge Desktop connects to compatible cloud, private, or local model endpoints. The specific endpoint, provider, and authentication are confirmed during assessment rather than assumed from a broad compatibility claim. See models + runtimes.

Tools and permissions

A model does not automatically gain access to the whole computer, every file, terminal command, browser session, or business system. Permissions define which approved tools, resources, and actions a configured workflow can use — explicit tools, explicit working directories, and user approvals.

Workflows

Repeatable workflows let the same job run the same way, under the same permissions, every time. Organization-specific workflows, custom tools, and business-system integrations are configured with Alluqi — see services.

Requirements

  • Operating system: Windows or macOS.
  • For free individual local use: suitable hardware you control, a supported runtime, and an Alluqi account.
  • For a cloud-only model strategy: no dedicated private-inference server is required.
  • For private or local models: a physical, GPU-capable workstation or server somewhere — yours or Alluqi-managed.
